Handles for screw-on cardboard tubes. Soaked like a newspaper pad, the tubes open bowls and wide forms without leaving tool marks.
Links last checked September 30, 2026.
Soak the tubes for five minutes, burn them in a little, then dip between pieces. The handle style was popular in the ’80s and ’90s until the tubes became hard to find.
