Jeff Lindsay’s shop, a division of Red Hot Metal, known for CNC-cut D2 tool steel shears. Lindsay started glassblowing at Chico State in 1973 and made shears in the late ’70s before starting Cutting Edge in 1998. Many of its designs were developed with working artists, including Dante Marioni, Roger Parramore, and Salt. Distributors often sell the tools under the Red Hot Metal name.
