Twisty bits
Drill-driven bits that hold the end of a cane pull, for twisting or pulling cane without a post.
What it is
Bugeye’s Twisty Bit is a bit that snaps onto a drill or a pulling handle.[1]
How it’s used
Bugeye loads several bits with cookies and keeps them hot in a kiln or garage at about 1000 degrees, then snaps on to one, attaches the cane mass, and twists or pulls the cane; after the pull the bit is quenched and released, ready for the next. It removes the wait for a post.[1]
